Nursery - Three-year-olds

Our Nursery is OPEN for 30 hour funded entitlement.

Your child can start Nursery Three-year-olds in the term after they are three and their place is completely FREE for 15 funded hours. For eligible parents we can also offer 30 funded hours. The school day for 30 funded hour children will run from 8:30am-14:30pm, we are offering an extra 45 minutes of childcare to finish at 15:15pm in line with the rest of the school. The cost of the extra 45 minutes will be charged at £6.00 per session. See below for session times.

We are also accepting applications for 15 funded hours in both morning & afternoon sessions.

You must apply for your code by the end of the month before the new term starts, otherwise you will not be able to access your funding for that term.

 

Nursery - Two-year-olds

Our new two-year-old provision is open!

Your child can start Nursery Two-year-olds in the term after they are two. Please see details below for funding. Please contact the school office for more information.

Nursery two-year-olds at Windale opens at 8:30am and sessions finish at 11:30am.

Funding

Some 2-year-olds in England can get free early education and childcare.

You must be getting one of the following:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • support through part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act
  • tax credits and have an annual income under £16,190 before tax
  • the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
  • the Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
  • Universal Credit

If your child is eligible, you can start claiming after they turn 2. The date you can claim will depend on when their birthday is.
