We are an exciting and vibrant school and we strive to make every day a valuable and stimulating learning experience for each and every one of our pupils, from Nursery through to Year 6. High quality teaching and learning, which inspires every child and helps them grow in independence and understanding themselves as a learner, has led to strong progress and secured a Good judgement from OFSTED, with Personal Development being judged as Outstanding!

Emotional health and nurturing for learning are central to our success and create an ethos that ensures all children are treated with respect and dignity. We know every child can learn to believe in themselves and others, and the sound relationships that form through our approach allow even the most vulnerable or challenging children to thrive and flourish. We want every child to feel that learning is intrinsically joyful and something precious that is relevant and accessible to them. We accept no excuses – learning is for every child throughout their time with us and beyond.

The school council were asked to work closely with their peers to create our school motto. They created 'Aim high - be the best you can be!' and this epitimises the expectations of our staff and our children at all times.
