Residential experiences are a crucial part of what we offer children. These are not holidays. These are essential experiences to allow children to develop resilience, team work skills, independence and to see their learning in a real context.
They are a integral part of the children’s learning, not an add on extra or a treat and they are, therefore, heavily subsidised to ensure all children can take part. Wherever larger no of such trips are earlier in the school year because they give an unrivalled opportunity for teachers and children to see each other in a new light and to bond through shared adventures, experiences and learning. This deepened relationship will be built upon throughout the rest of the year.
Residentials for this year include:
- Hill End
- Stratford – Mary Ardens House and Shakespeare’s Birth Place
